I am a man of 17 who have never sex. I am a clean person. Sometimes I have buttons to control my penis from time to time. I do not think you have herpes? What are the ways the virus can be transmitted?

Genital herpes is usually love skin contact usually during sex. There is a small possibility it could be transmitted through sharing wet towels. If you have not had sex on (oral, vaginal and anal), so I doubt that this is genital herpes. Even people not only catch herpes, sexually transmitted diseases are not discriminatory.
It may be buttons, pearly papules, boils accumulate, allergic reaction, bacteria, if your really worried then the doctor or clinic to test the beans for you.
They can and buttons does not mean you have herpes.
